Yes it’s kingfisher again 😀🎨 it was hard to find violet color birds for this #rainbowbirds series.

I was looking for violet-magenta color birds and then came across a photo taken by my colleague. So happy he allowed me to paint using his reference photo.

Thank you so much Nitin, hope you will like the artwork. I tried to give justice to the beautiful photograph of this little bird 🎨

And that being said, finally it’s time for the last rainbow color birds. Which is violet 💜

I have used Mijello Mission Gold colors and 140 lb cold press paper for this one.

Day24: #WorldWatercolorMonth – Victoria crowned pigeon

Its a Australian bird. Widely regarded as ranking amongst some of the most handsome of all pigeons, the Victoria crownedpigeonis a large steely blue-grey bird.

I never painted any kind of pigeon before but I guess its a good start 😀

Day20: #WorldWatercolorMonth – Blue Bird

Not every bird painting makes me happy or I would say it’s not necessary that each painting should be a masterpiece. This one is the good example of that.

I painted this one in a hurry and at the end, in the loop of fixing this bird I ended up doing overwork on this.  Anyways this is how you learn Right?

Do you get such situations while painting? I would like to hear about your experiences.
