Back to regular painting technique. Last 3 days I was using salt to add some texture on the birds.
I kind of liked the way this little blue bird has turned out. I guess flowers around him compliments the blue color. What do you think?

Mountain Blue Bird

It’s been a while that I painted in traditional way, as you that I was trying my hands over Wacom for Digital painting for past few weeks.

Of course I was missing this fun element – splash of water on paper and work quickly in wet on wet style. I have also posted work in progress videos on my Instagram.

I have used 300 lb arches paper, Artphilosophy and Mijello Missiongold colors, silver brushes for this one.

Day20: #WorldWatercolorMonth – Blue Bird

@artbynehal

Not every bird painting makes me happy or I would say it’s not necessary that each painting should be a masterpiece. This one is the good example of that.

I painted this one in a hurry and at the end, in the loop of fixing this bird I ended up doing overwork on this.  Anyways this is how you learn Right?

Do you get such situations while painting? I would like to hear about your experiences.
