Spring in the air and here are my flowers 🙂
I started with pencil drawing then applied masking fluid to flowers so that I could work on background. I used wet on wet technique, I wanted to show few flowers in the background so just added few Alizarin Crimson color so it’ll look like suggestive forms of flowers.
Watercolor are always lighter when they dry. So I found need to add few more dark tones to bg. Next I moved to those foreground flowers. You can refer to those thumbnails above 🙂

This is gorgeous, I am so in love with this painting, which says a lot as I am not the greatest fan of flower paintings…you have a great flair with flower work, I can’t even put my finger on exactly why it appeals in a big way to me, but it does❤️
