Day19! Flowers and sky

Another practice in loose watercolor! This time I dare to paint sky and accidentally it’s really looking like sky πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜† Β Quite happy with the result.

I started with light blue wash and then picked up some blue color and kept some paper white in the form of clouds. Then flowers and leafs.

I think I need more tips and tricks on how to paint sky by my fellow blogger friends, specially from sky expert Charlie and Rachel ! πŸ™‚

Thank you for visiting!

      1. πŸ™‚ I generally don’t use direct cube color if I want green then I make it yellow+blue=green! So this way they looks little fresh!

  1. the sky looks really good. People often forget that clouds are three dimensional objects and leave them looking like wholes in the sky, that’s something to look out for. Another thing that one of the greats said about painting the skies is that most people use too much color for the sky. I think you nailed that part in this one. perfect amount of pigment.
